By creating a Jovilee account or using any part of the Jovilee service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Jovilee. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jovilee.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account with others, use another person’s account without permission, or create accounts by automated means.

You agree not to:

• •Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• •Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the Service
• •Transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• •Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without written permission
• •Use the Service to send unsolicited communications
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

When you make a purchase through Jovilee, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes and delivery fees. All prices are shown in your selected currency and are inclusive of VAT where required by law.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge your chosen method for the amount shown at checkout.

Refunds: If a gift arrives damaged or is not delivered within the promised timeframe, contact support@jovilee.com within 14 days and we will arrange a replacement or full refund. Digital gifts are non-refundable once redeemed.

Subscription billing: Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Jovilee and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, design, trademarks, and content we create. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our intellectual property except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as gift notes and recipient profiles). By submitting content to Jovilee you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to operate the Service.

Jovilee connects you with third-party retailers and brands to fulfil orders. These parties have their own terms and return policies. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or accuracy of third-party products or services, though we will always act as your advocate if something goes wrong.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and have no control over their content.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jovilee’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the total amount you paid to Jovilee in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In no event shall Jovilee be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law. We will give you reasonable notice unless the circumstances make that impractical.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion takes effect within 30 days. Outstanding subscription charges are not refunded upon termination unless required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer based in the EU, you may also be entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
